I opened this bottle of wine that I had stored while I was living in Prague.
Wow, I was quite surprised at the richness of taste; like fresh strawberries. I was also surprised that this was more like an apertif than a wine for drinking. A deep ruby red and thick like a cream sherry, but thicker...
This was produced by a small vineyard in Pine Bush, New York; Baldwin Vineyards.
Tomáš: This might be what one might call a sipping wine... The initial taste is quite amazing.. but it is very sweet, almost like an ice wine. Not sure one could drink a whole wine glass of it.
